A 20-year-old Indianapolis resident was the victim. His name is Varun Manish Chheda. Ji Min Sha, a student at Purdue University studying cybersecurity, was named the suspect by Purdue University Police Chief Lesley Wiete. Ji Min Sha shared a room with Chheda.
What happened that night?
Chheda was playing video games with buddies online that night of his death, the Purdue University Police have confirmed.
Andrew Wu, one of their buddies, confirmed that he was taking part in that game with Chheda. Eventually, the two went to Park Tudor School, and Wu alleges that he heard a scream from the video game console.
