On Sunday, Kansas City sealed the division championship with a rout of the Pittsburgh Steelers, 36-10. The Chiefs also required the Houston Texans to beat the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday. Winning the league seemed like a long shot going into the schedule. However, that upset occurred in the opening slate. Houston stunned the Chargers 41-29 with four touchdown runs in the 4th quarter, three among which were field goals.
It became possible for Patrick Mahomes and company to beat the Steelers and sweep the division. They did not spend time gaining possession of the game on the ball’s sides. To take a 23-0 lead into halftime, Kansas City scored touchdowns on three of its first four efforts. Before the half, Clyde Edwards-Helaire scored another touchdown on the run to seal the victory.
